    Ahh, it's just common strategy. You're buying across numbers that are fairly meaningless (2, 1, 0 , -1 -2).

    You want to capture everything through the 7 and the 3, which are all of the premium numbers (7, 6, 5, 4, 3).

    The math behind this is in Stanford Wong's book Sharp Sports Betting, but probably can be found online too.
