The Cardinals have played defense boasting a strong front seven and opportunistic secondary. The Cardinals’ defense remains strong up front with Daryl Washington,Paris Lenon, and Darnell Dockett all playing key roles in that defense. While most of those interceptions have been the result of tips or overthrows, the constant movement in the back end has also prompted opposing quarterbacks to attempt to fit balls into tight windows. If Kolb isn't careful about his pre-snap reads or decisions in the pocket,he could have a long day against a defense that wreaks there opponents electrifying Patrick Peterson and the hard-hitting Adrian Wilson anchor the Cardinals’ secondary. The Arizona Cardinals have taken the NFL by storm, beating talented teams such as New England and Philadelphia. The strength of the Cardinals’ offense continues to be its wide receivers.Receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who has posted 5 straight 1000-yard seasons, will face top Rams’ corner Cortland Finnegan in one of the key match ups of the game.Second year running back Ryan Williams heads the Cards’ ground game with Beanie Wells on the IR..The problem is the Rams defense should have a similar advantage over the Cardinals offense.Against the Rams,Kolb's conservative approach will be tested by a young secondary with exceptional ball skills.Janoris Jenkins,Trumaine Johnson and Cortland Finnegan have quickly developed into one of the NFL's top secondaries, and their collective aggressiveness and instincts have helped the Rams rack up eight picks in four games. The Cards struggle to run it at times (69 ypg - 28th) and it puts them in predictable passing situations where Kevin Kolb has had a hard time staying clean (Cards also allowed 14 sacks)...The Rams secondary is probably their strength overall (12th - 214 ypg), and they've already made eight interceptions including three last week against a rookie QB in Wilson. If the Rams can contain Larry Fitzgerald on offense and Patrick Peterson on returns they have a great shot to come away with another victory... However I don't think this will happen folks. My prediction 24-14 win for the Cardinals on Thursday giving up -2 1/2
