    Steelers for the year

shocked if they go better than 9-7. too many issues imo.

old d, new coaches, horrid oline, holdout, injuries, very tough schedule

9-7 could be good enough to win the division, i think Steelers will finish 10-6

how about the Ravens? lost too many players on their D

    Key FA losses:
    LB Jarret Johnson,
    DT Cory Redding,
    S Tom Zbikowski,
    DT Brandon McKinney,
    CB Chris Carr

    Suggs is hurt

lost another DT player for the season last week, MCBean

    Lost their D coord

    Ray Lewis is older

The Yahoo article quotes Big Ben as saying he doesn't throw during walk-thrus to preserve his shoulder. That sounds real bad to me for Pittsburgh fans. I have never heard of a QB that has to preserve his shoulder.

    How old is he? 30?

thats they thing, I am a Steelers fan......haved lived here my whole life. I just dont see it this year.

As far as big ben is concerned, I think he is top 5 any day of the week. He gets murdered behind that swiss cheese line. The graph on tv during last nights game said it all. he has been sacked over 100 more times than any other qb since 2006. Some are his own fault for holdin g onto the ball too long, but some of his greatest plays come because of that. Even so, we are talking about 10% of that number. Brady, manning would have been knocked out for seasons multiple times behind this line imo.

he has 2 super bowl titles and played in another at age 29 i believe. sure, the d and running game were big reasons why, but you still cant take that away from him. he is averaging going to the super bowl like every 3 years...... eli and brady can say that, who else? aikman montana and kelly.............some great company.
