Look for the Chiefs to roll over the 49ers in Kansas City today.

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of a bye and in an unusual position with an 0-2 start. They had to have been stewing all week long after their overtime loss to Denver in week two.

Larry Johnson is starting to get on track. The new offensive tackles for the Chiefs have to be improving, and Damon Huard, interim quarterback while Trent Green is healing, has hit 67% of his passes.

The Chiefs’ defense hasn’t been that bad with new addition Ty Law in the secondary and the fine play of second year linebacker Derrick Johnson. They have played two of the best teams in the NFL, the Bengals and the Broncos. They held their own, despite some shaky moments against Cincinnati after Green almost got decapitated.

San Francisco QB Alex Smith is finally showing he has value and wasn’t one of the worst #1 picks in history. They just don’t have much of a defense this week. They now have to travel to arguably the hardest venue to play in the NFL, Arrowhead Stadium.

I like the Chiefs to come out smoking, Johnson to show his mettle, and a double-digit Chiefs’ win!
