    If Illinois loses this game, Weber can start packing his bags.

    No way that a team with 10 times more talent should lose at home to Northwestern. This has been a horribly coached game. Leonard 10-11 shooting and they go to him 1/3rd the time, maybe.

    Weber does so little with so much. I'm not saying illinois has top 10 talent, but they have quite a few good players, and year in and year out, he can never seem to keep them motivated. They play down to the level of every crap team. Look at the Nebraska and Penn st games.

    When Weber took over after Self, Illinois was a top 10 program. Now they are borderline top 40 and nothing is done.

    Did you watch this game today nocoin? To be honest, Northwestern had no business in this game. Without the unreal first half performance from the walk on who hit 6-6, this game probably turns into a blowout.

    But Leonard never missing and rarely shooting is just unreal. The guy is projected as a top 10 NBA pick for next year if he goes out and he doesn't touch the ball but 33% of the possessions?

    As for talent, every single player for Illinois was rated higher coming in than any player for Northwestern.

    Bruce Weber does less with more than any coach in the country. I certainly expected a semi-battle from Northwestern, but this wasn't a bad bet. Northwestern just won their first road conference game of the year. It was a shock.
