A look at a couple of over/unders this week:

PATRIOTS/BILLS ---- OVER 41-
The Pats have gone under in four straight games as they've been conservative while grooming Cassel. With their shortage of healthy RBs they now have no choice but to take off the training wheels and let the kid start airing it out. Pats, 31-17.

OAKLAND/CAROLINA ---- UNDER 38
The Raiders had a total of three first downs in last week's game against the '86 Bears....oops, the Atlanta Falcons. What do you think the morale's like right about now in the Black Hole as that nutjob Al Davis disassembles a once-proud franchise? Carolina euthanizes the Silver and Black, 24-3.

SAN DIEGO/KANSAS CITY ---- 0VER 47
It's now or never for the Chargers. They've had an extra week to lick their wounds and now it's time to open the throttle against these bumbling Chiefs. Chargers, 38-17.

HOUSTON/BALTIMORE ---- OVER 41-
Who'da thunk that the Ravens would go over the total three straight weeks? Don't be surprised if they do it again 'cuz Flacco and company appear to have found their groove. The Texans have been explosive all year as 7 of their 8 contests have gone north of the posted total. Needing it more, Houston prevails 27-24.

ARIZONA/49ERS ---- OVER 46
New QB set to start for the 49ers, but he's not exactly replacing Dan Fouts. In one week Singletary has proven to be nuttier than squirrel turds. You know he's too manic to play it conservative under the Monday Night spotlight. He will ask his team to do too much, it will backfire, and the high-flying Cardinals will pull away, 35-17.

Best of luck!
