Been reading SBR for the last couple months, really informative stuff here.
I know everyone says college students without a disposable income shouldn't gamble, but here I am anyways. Main sports to bet on are College Football, NBA, and College Basketball. Small time better at bodog but might be looking at another book, I kind of don't like how they post their lines so late. Still learning. My main sports to watch is College Football but my sport to play has always been baseball. I consume a staggering amount of sports but I'm sure thats normal here. Current University of Arizona student so they are definitely my #1 focus as a fan (UCLA Roadtrip next week!) & AZ sports in general.
UofA is definitely a fun place to go to school. Just last weekend we had homecoming and I was able to drink and talk to Richard Jefferson, Andre Iguodala, and Luke Walton all in the same night. Pretty amazing seeing them all in the same place mingling with all the students and alums.
This year definitely does feel special especially with how well our football team is doing right now. It just sucks that Oregons unreal year coincides with one of our best years so far. I want to be able to go to a Rose Bowl so bad.
This is a great forum, I am new and although Harness Racing is my game I am a big Football and Hockey Fan. The information contained here is awesome and I look forward to getting into it all. Thanks in advance to all who contribute this valuable information.
Been doing the sports gaming for a long time and have a soft spot for college kids. Education is expensive now days.
Avoid: locks, game of the year, game of the month, game of the universe, game of BullShit, Unit Crap, posters who tell you how good they are, inside information, Con-Artist who sell their picks, Hot tips etc...etc.
Sports gaming can be fun.......it can also be a nightmare. (BEEN THERE. DONE THAT!)
