I learnt to wait till the 2nd round to bet. Some teams don't give a pituee. 2nd round might have more ambition. Might bet a game or two, and might not.
Look at, STUDY the conference matchups... especially blowout covers.... conferences are not rated as clear cut accurately as THE MEDIA and RPI and Saggarin say.
Examples, MVC covered two games easily (+ one barely, but covered).... A-10 lost big. The ACC is weak this yr? Clemson BLEW OUT UAB. BC BLEW OUT McNeese.
Conference matchups also will apply to NCAA's... do not believe the hype.
Big East is solid, but not as strong as the RPI bullcrap suggests.
I learned that an Ivy League team probably does not care about playing in a post-season tournament besides the dance. These kids have tons of schoolwork and other jazz going on that it is hard to believe they actually want to win a game in the NIT/CBI/CIT
For all these other teams basketball is everything and the majority of the kids want to win.
New Mexico looked pretty alright and should be able to win another game in this tourney.
I learned that even if you are a higher seed, you can still play a road game. Don't know why Dayton did not get to play on Wright State's court? I realize that there would only be die hard UD fans but it's better than a road game.
Didnt realize there were 20-23 teams who were ahead of Harvard in the pecking order for an at-large berth in the NCAA tournament.
I thought for sure Harvard would be one of the last few teams out.
Home teams win almost always. Parlay some on the moneylines and you might have something. I think home teams were 26-6 over the past two years in Round 1. They went 5-3 last night. BC for whatever reason played on the road as a #1.
