    If you're +14.5 at home to a team that isn't even in the Top-25 and you're in a power conference, something's gone horribly wrong.

    Hell, VT's only 3-5 on the road this year.

    Gun to my head, I'd say Wake covers. They are athletic, but young. VT could win by 25, or could be close. It'll depend on the foul situation for VT who has only 7 main players. I'd lay off.

    The other day I was wondering why Wake was +10 at home to an unranked FSU team who was playing their first game without their best player due to an injury. After leading by 3 at half, then getting outscored by 20 in the second, half I had my answer. They really suck.

    They wouldn't fire Jeff Bzdelik after one season would they? He's a mediocre coach who plays a awkward brand of basketball. His only claim to fame is 1 season as coach of the Nuggets, yet he was brought in because Dino Gaudio couldn't get his guys to stop thinking about the NBA Draft during the NCAA Tournament. Go figure.

    Keep in mind that Wake lost by nearly 40 to Tech in VA...I wouldn't touch this game with a 10 - foot pole.

    Yes, Wake is that bad. They have only won twice since before Christmas and have already lost at home by double digits to mighty Stetson, and also were embarrassed by Wilmington, Presbyterian, etc. I believe they have only played 2 conference games where they stayed within 14 points. VT or no play would be my suggestion (I'm not playing it, personally).

    I'll have to stay away from this one....I was wondering myself it that wasnt too many pts to give them at home...def can imagine them putting up a heroic effort at home and only losing in the end by 11....on the flip side i can see a VT 30 pt win....i respectfully lay off and just watch this one...

    Call me crazy, but I think Wake might keep this one close. Va Tech is not a deep team (I think they've lost about three players to injury this season); they are not a great road team; they are coming off a loss in a rivalry game; they are looking forward to a big nationally televised extravaganza at home against Duke, in which they are going to try to win their ticket to the big dance. Wake has had short, sometimes very short, periods of time when they have played competitively. Something tells me tonight they get a cover.

    i would think wake with the points. wake hung witn unc and ended up losin by 14, so thats a lot of points. And VT sucks. They are a bubble team, and knowing they needed wins against uva and today to have any chance, they got their asses handed to them by virginia. twice. VT overlooks bad teams and they could care less about this game with duke coming up. i think theyve convinced themselves that a win over dookies gets them into tourney. they dont seem to realize a win here is just as important and a loss is more costly. good luck on this game. i agree that wake covers, but mostly cuz i hate vt cuz they cut into my saturday winnings.

    Yes, Wake is that bad. They are absolute trash.

    I went to NC State, and when they played last week Wake was +5.5 home dogs. At the time NCSU was playing so poorly I thought that taking Wake and the points was a steal. State won by 30. Wake is terrible. Just gawd-awful terrible. I'm not saying them covering 14.5 vs VT is out of the question, but I sure as shit wouldn't bet on it.
