    Early ML parlay candidates:

    Tenn
    UCLA
    Indiana
    Marquette
    Drake
    St Mary's
    BYU
    Ohio State
    Kentucky
    Alabama
    Arizona

Oklahoma St should be a play for me.
    West Virginia too.

I will be very interested to see what the line will be on that Wisky @ Purdue game??? I'm gonna say like Purdue -2 or -3??? Is that too much? The Boilers have been ON FIRE lately... Would love to somehow see Purdue getting points in that one... Probably will be close to a PK EM don't ya think?

If Memphis is -10 or less against Gonzaga, I think its a definite play even though thats a lot of wood to lay... They know that the Zags and Tennessee are pretty much the only two teams that would spoil a perfect season... I think the Tiger will be jacked for this one especially at home in front of a huge crowd! I predict Memphis will win by about 15...

Would love to hear your thoughts on those two games in particular...

Purdue is still under the radar a bit. I think you might get PK, maybe Wisky might even be -1.

Memphis is probably going to be -10 or -11 in that one. Tough one to call, Backdoor will be too wide open for me..

Minnesota +6 and ML (OSU): Two tough losses at home last week for Tubby's boys against IU and MSU. Despite losing, I was impressed with this team. Minny gets one back against a completely unimpressive OSU squad.

Iowa -5 (PSU): No Claxton. PSU's going in the toilet... fast. Iowa defends, PSU can't score without Claxton.

Cal pk (Stanford): Cal desperate for a W. Anderson can more than neutralize Lopez inside. Cal's guard play and the home court the difference in a must-win conference game for the Bears.

Old Dominion +5 (William & Mary): Underachieving team v. overachieving team. Lee will be the best player on the court, and too much pride for ODU to slip any further in the league standings. ODU below .500 in the Colonial, while W&M 7-2 and tied for 2nd? Not happening. Monarchs win outright.

I am going to be all over the Memphis game. It is another early game, just like with Georgetown. They were a little lackluster in their last game against Tulsa but with a team like Gonzaga who also plays a pretty fast game should be fun. I still think the Zags are overrated but I am hoping they don't come out on fire tomorrow.

Purdue and California I think could be straight up dog winners tomorrow. Wisconsin should be at least a 2-3 pt fave.

Wisc opened as a pk and I'm all over that....Purdue doesnt play against too many teams that size up to them....and Wisc can match up man to man with them ......Wisc is the more experienced team here.....i expect them to cover by atleast 5 points

agree with the Cal and Purdue leans...Gonzaga is worth a look as well in my opinion...as bad as ASU has played the last couple of games I think they match up well with Wazzu and the +3.5 should help as well...

Tomorrow will be one of those days where everything falls in place for Purdue as they shell shock Wisky. It'll be the best crowd at Mackey in about 8 or 9 years. The students are probably already there freezing their asses off.

I was blown away by Wisky's performance against Texas and as my friend states "Bo Ryan...that guy has championships coming out his ass." I love how they play but this streak has them overvalued along with the Hoosiers. My homer eyes see this Purdue team getting better and better as games go by. The veterans (the sophmores) have stepped it up in conference play & the frosh (minus Johnson) keep improving. Hummel has made this the first successful Purdue team against a zone since #13 was beating zones 1 on 5. The defense they play keeps them in just about any game (they've had the lead inside 5 minutes in every game this year) and holding late leads against OSU, Ill, & Iowa has given them a bit of confidence in late game situations.

I'll state again though that I think Ryan is a genius and love how hard they play but it's at Mackey which is a place Wisky just doesn't win (outside of 1975 and 2000).

Plus I'm a freakin homer and have had more losing bets than Grossman INTs so take all this with a grain of salt.

I got Purdue at pk, but just saw at one book they've gone -1.

I am right with you on Memphis. This game will be biggest play of the day. I think Memphis will win by 15.

I always base my picks more on team momentum and covering stats of games themselvees rather than looking at the players and how they matchup..While this may be a faulty system it simplifies my life and has worked decently well this year..Have a look and tell me what you think....

--I like Memphis to win big after reading your points and looking at stats

--Also going to take Villinova at home up to -3...Follow Big East regularly and their seems to be one rule...Home teams win a strikingly large majority of the time. Couple this with Nova's 8-0 Home streak and Notre Dames awful two road games in the near past and I see a villanova victory.

--Like this thought for WVU game as well (ill be there !)

--South Carolina has a ridiculous ATS road streak covering 20 out of last 24..Can we really take Kentucky that seriously after thier defeat of Tenn. I dont think so..They still got a lot of work to do and 8 points is giving a lot.

--Look for Tex A&M to bounce back big after three straight losses (including that 5 OT thriller with Baylor)..They see their Big 12 status declining quick and desperately need a win..Ok State is mediocre even at home

--Indiana at home...Uconn has lost its second highest scoring player and an excellent ball control man to suspension and IU is just rolling over teams.

--NC State to hang with Fla State on the road...two very evenly matched teams...+5.5 seems golden

--Washington....Just too much parity in the PAC 10 to have an 8-9 point spread..I would take it even against a UCLA...Appleby's 3 point shooting can change a game in an instant and if he goes cold forward play has been consistant all year..

--Auburn 8-2 ATS vs SEC and & 7-2 ATS in last 9 played....Alabama has been faltering after an impressive start losing their last four (2 at home)

--Tcu +10...They just had a knack at hanging with teams all year...They wont beat Utah but +10 is a good enough chance for a cover

--Dayton -4.5...Miserable loss to Xavier has pushed the line closer here...Team is still trying to overcome two key injuries but they simply outmatch Richmond here..

--Drake..-7.5 Im just on the bandwagon here, they had a true test at Creighton who has been the most stedy team in the MVC for 5 years and won by 8...

    Like your thoughts Mr.Jackson..

Agree with most of what you say except Okie St being mediocre @ home. Okie St is a tyrant at home.

Huge Parlay for me today. Biggest bet of 2008.

Memphis ML parlayed with Indiana ML.

I think both Memphis and Indiana should win convincingly and both will likely cover but these things are never easy for me so I went ML on both. Hope neither game ends in an upset. Memphis and Indiana should have the players on court that dominate the opponents' and with both being at home, the noise factor should only favor the faves.

    Fingers crossed!

Anyone on Davidson -8.5?? I am thinking about putting a butt load on this. They have been playing great on the road while coll. of charleston has gotten smoked in their last 2 games. any thoughts?

I like Davidson, this line is way off I think. Total mismatch.

UCONN doing its best to pull the upset off. Now up by 1, despite having little depth without their 2 missing key players. I got nervous when, during halftime of the Memphis game, one of the commentators said that Indiana was going to roll today as it was impossible for UCONN to win this game.

I was screaming at the tube :

"DON'T SAY THAT! Don't JINX ME you, PHUCKER!"

Come on, Indiana. This is embarrassing!

I hope you did indeed get Old Dom at +5, because they are now favored. I will take my shot with William and Mary on the ML if they are still plus money closer to tip off.
