Louisville starting center David Padgett will likely miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, even though some sources are only saying 3 months.
The story I read had Pitino saying Padgett has a bright future, "and not just in basketball." That tells me all I need to know. This changes Louisville's prospects. Not as deep now underneath.
Sad story, that. Injuries screwed up a promising career.
Still should be a top 10 team, Caracter will be starting now, Farley off the bench... makes them thinner when someone gets in foul trouble, but Earl Clark can be moved to center if needed
