NC State - Guard Marques Johnson will become eligible after first semester.

Clemson - Starting forward Sam Perry (knee) is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Starting forward James Mays (back) missed practice last two days and is questionable Thursday vs Miss State. Mays leads the Tigers in scoring. Backup forward Julius Powell (heart) is out Thursday.

Maryland - Junior reserve forward David Neal (shoulder) is doubtful Thursday vs Northeastern.

Marist - Guard Louie McCroskey (eligibility) will miss next 3 games.

Georgetown - Freshman F Nikita Mescheriakov (suspended) will miss the first 10 games of the season.

Michigan - Starting PG Jerret Smith (ankle) missed last game and is questionable for Georgetown.

Northwestern - F Kevin Coble (personal) is out indefinitely. Coble led the team with 13.4ppg and 5.4rpg a year ago. Backup G Jeremy Nash (back) is expected to miss Thursday.

Temple - G Ramone Moore (undisclosed) is expected to miss the entire 2007-2008 season.

Providence - Starting PG and leading scorer from a year ago Sharaud Curry (foot) is out indefinitely. Curry averaged 15.3ppg last season.

Arkansas - G Nate Rakestraw (finger) is expected to miss 4 weeks.

Oregon State - Leading scorer Marcel Jones (right shooting thumb) missed several practices and first exhibition game, returned in second exhibition, but is still less than 100%. Junior wing Jack McGillis has transfered to Montana. Freshman forward Omari Johnson (cheekbone) is out at least until mid December and may redshirt. Backup center Calvin Hampton (suspension) missed both exhibitions but is probable Thursday vs CSU. Kansas transfer C.J. Miles is ineligible first semester.

Southern Cal - Starting G Daniel Hackett (jaw) returned to practice and is expected to play limited minutes vs The Citadel. F Mamadou Diarra (hernia) is out indefinitely.

Eastern Washington - F Petar Milasinovic (ankle) is questionable after missing the last two games. F Jack Loofburrow (foot) is out indefinitely.
