Drake has been one of the most underrated teams in the Missouri Valley this season. They have gone 6-4 SU & 7-3 ATS in league play this year.
The Bulldogs have been crazy good at home this season, going 8-1 SU & 5-1 ATS, winning by an average of 13.8 points per game. Their only home loss this year came to the best team in the Missouri Valley in Loyola.
Southern Illinois comes in overvalued off three straight victories with two at home and a 2-point win at Missouri State. It is just 3-6 in true road games this season. And southern Illinois already lost at home to Drake 67-70 in their first meeting. I think Drake has to be more than a 3-point home favorite in the rematch.
Southern illinois are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Bulldogs are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine home games. Drake is 6-0 ATS in home games after having lost two of its last three games over the past two seasons. Southern Illinois is 0-6 ATS versus good shooting teams that make 45% of their shots or better this season.
