    Crazy Upsets Stretegy

There always seems to be a ridiculous upset that you just wouldn't have seen coming.

Is this year worse than previous years? (asked as new to NCAAB)

So I'm kicking around something which is to take all Dogs on the M/L. However the idea would be to bet a lower number and only take dogs +250 or higher. Possibly even higher I haven't done the math.

In any case the idea would be to add up all games on a given day with a M/L higher than whatever amount you like. So let's say your comfortable amount is anyone above 300. Let's say there are 16 games on a day. You could do something like 1/16th of a unit, or 1/8th of a unit and start betting the dogs. At 1/16th a unit your only exposure is 1 unit and if there are 2-3 upsets, especially games on the M/L that are +500 or above you easily get back your investment.

I assume I'm not trying anything new but was curious if there anyone else who'd looked at this... There might be a query you can use at the Sports Database to figure out if this would be worth it.

    We think alike. Good luck.
