Stanford has gone 1-9 SU vs the top 50 teams, and UC Davis hasn't faced any.
Game is at Stanford. Davis had an impressive road win recently when they destroyed UC Irvine by 19. Other than that, their road play has been unimpressive. Losses to bad teams like Idaho, Washington St, Seattle. However, they did manage to go 9-5 ATS on the road by beating up on their conference. And obviously they can shoot 3's and Corey Hawkins is one of the best players in the nation.
Stanford recently destroyed two teams at home that are about equal to UC Davis: Oregon State and California. Make no mistake, Stanford could hurt Davis if they were motivated. The question is: will they be? They are fickle and only went 8-7 ATS in home games. Unimpressive home wins that were close against teams like Denver and Loyola Marymount. However, they did destroy UCONN. But that was when UCONN sucked.
Being that this game is only 100 miles from UC Davis, and being that Stanford got thrashed to a historic level by Utah in their last game, and being that you could argue that Stanford gave up in that game and has no heart, and this game is exciting for UC Davis cause it's their first postseason game at Div 1 level, and they can always lob 3's if it gets desperate, and they have three playmakers.... I have run the numbers and I only have Stanford winning this by 5 points. The Aggies are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 games. Stanford is 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a SU loss. And their last game was definitely a loss. (56-80)
