    Nit

I know most of the attention is going to be paid to the NCAA's, but I am thinking there will be some money to be made and some more favorable lines in the NIT. What do you guys think?

Yep. I have four games pinpointed.

    UMASS (-4?) vs. Alabama
    Delaware State (+16?) @ WVU
    South Alabama (+15?) @ Syracuse
    Drexel (-4.5?) vs. NC State

How did Syracuse, K-State and FSU not even get #1 seeds? Drexel is a 3??

East bracket is stacked with WVU, Alabama, Drexel, Oklahoma State and NC State, jeez!

    West Bracket is wack though

keep in mind the nit is always set up to make it extremely easy
for some of the more glamorous schools to go to the final 4

I seem to recall that in the NIT, home faves tend to be a good bet in round 1, while road dogs tend to be a good bet in round 2. Which makes sense. A road team that doesn't care about the NIT might easily just mail it in and go home, whereas any team that gets to round 2 of the NIT "cares" about it, and will likely be competitive in the second game.

That makes sense. I'm gonna have to use that method.

They did there seeding differently this year though GanchrowHG. They really didn't use the rating tools (sagrin rating/RPI) like they have in years past. C.M. Newton went on record to say it was more of a "common sense" type seeding method. I feel we can find some very good value based on all these ex-coaches old school style seeding.

Amazing how "common sense" left Akron and Auburn out.
