Evansville has dominated this head-to-head series going 6-2 SU and 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings, and we look for the underdog Purple Aces to continue that pattern here.

The Aces have held their own on the road this season going 4-4-1 ATS, and the last time they traveled they upset Indiana State outright 50-49. In fact Evansville has been a giant-killer as of late, upsetting conference kingpins Missouri State and Southern Illinois over the last two weeks. The Aces usually play good defense, limiting their opponents to 42.7 percent shooting from the floor, and that unit always gives this team a chance when it is an underdog like it is here.

Illinois State has been somewhat of a disappointment this year, sitting at just 11-11 SU. Yes this club is 8-3 at home, but two of those home losses have come inside the conference recently vs. Missouri State and Indiana State, two teams that Evansville has defeated during conference play. Aside from the common opponent angle, Evansville is also 2-1 ATS in its last three trips to this building including one outright upset victory.
