Coming off an upset loss at home last weekend, the Duke Blue Devils play the dogs for the first time in 22 meetings against Georgia Tech.
This is a classic case of our DDD theory - - Dominating Dog Does it again.
Duke is 20-1 straight up against Georgia Tech in the last 21 meetings between the two schools, and the Blue Devils have 16 covers in those 21 games. The special thing about tonight is that Duke is the underdog for the first time this season after being favored in the previous 21 contests versus the Yellow Jackets.
We'll take Coach K and the points off that home loss to Virginia Tech as Duke gets a much-needed ACC win.
GT will have a short bench tonight from what I've been reading, and thats not a very good sign for there chances tonight at all against a team like the Dukies.
Respectfully on the other side of this one, as Georgia Tech is
9 – 0 at home and overall they score 84.4 points a game. GT shooting 51% from the floor, and 39% from 3-point land means more to me than the history of this series going to the dog.
Well, as nosuzieno points out, I think there's a lot to be said for how well the Jackets play at home, and Paulus is terrible and could really hurt his team tonight. I also would be hesitant that over 70% of the public is on Duke here, and Duke is the ranked team that is a dog to an unranked team.
