Don't see UNC within 9 at Assembly Hall. On a neutral court I would have it as a pk. And at UNC I have it as UNC winning by 10. IU in a national champion hands down if every game is at IU.

So you see home court as being 10 pts?

For IU yes. They struggle away from home. That is indisputable. Look at last season. And thus far this season. They are unstoppable at home IMO. If they went into the Dean Dome.......

Oh wait that would be a tough game.... They don't schedule those stupid things.

All they can do is play the teams on the schedule. How sweet it feels to be hated

IU has looked terrible when Zeller doesnt get in the groove, granted UNC lost to Butler, but if you take IU I don't see how you can't take the over automatically at anything up to 140, and from there I'd look at it up to 150...

He is correct to give IU 10pts at home...they limit the amount of tickets the opposite team can get so basically 98% of the fans are IU fans...just look back to last years UK game...50 tickets sold to UK fans...!!..50!!!....then it took Terrance Jones scoring 2 pts and 1 rebound...Anthony Davis is phony foul trouble and 7 stragith 3's by IU in the second half...and still needed a buzzer beater to win Lmfao....the home crowd at IU is brutle.

With UNC it really comes down to whether the 3s are falling because they don't have much scoring down low other than McAdoo. They beat Miss. St. by over 50+ and came out cold as ice against Butler the next night, got down by 31 and pulled to within 6 with a 1.5 minutes left. Butler was the first team they had played all year they wouldn't qualify for the special olympics, so I think they were shell shocked in the first half after playing a bunch of cupcakes the first 5 games.

Bullock, Hairston & McDonald are all great shooters and Hairston & Bullock have great range. But this game is a toss up because you can't ever tell if the 3s will be falling. I don't know much about IU perimeter D but I wouldn't bet against the heels unless it's very good.

    ETA: Hairston is out.

There is going to be 0 defense in this game, the over under is slated at 156. Vegas is really banking on this being a complete shoot out. Not sure if that favors Indiana, North Carolina can really get out there and run. IU fans better hope that their faithful are loud and roudy to make sure that NC shoots a low %.

Stay away game for me, but should be fun to watch.

IU has a few homers too, but with the line this large, You may be right I can see a lot of people playing the UNC dog.

I've got Indiana in this one. UNC coming from a long Maui trip, playing #1 team in the country, and without their starting PG (and 3rd leading scorer). What could possibly go right for UNC? All over Indiana in this one.

In basketball in general teams tend to shoot better at home.

I think Indiana needs to come out and punch'em in the mouth and let'em know its bout to be a long game

It's not the starting PG, it's the backup SG (Hairston) who is out. He does provide a lot of scoring punch off the bench but it's definitely not the end of the world. UNC is stacked at the 2.

This enviorment is going to be freaking insane , by far the most hostile enviorment unc will step foot in to all year.

If yall think Cameron indoor is wild , yall havent seen Assembly Hall with a bunch of drunks hooting and hollerin

As a die hard UNC fan I see this game going one of two ways; either it's a tight game at the end or unc gets blown out of the water. Flip a coin on that line because I really think that @ -9, -9.5, -10 all are coin flips I just don't see any value in either side.

I am also a diehard Heels fan. Without PJ Hairston, UNC will lose a lot of agressiveness. I am always optimistic, but unfortunately I see the Heels getting beat by 15+.

    According to Vegas insider
71% of bets coming in on the Tarheels yet the line has moved from 9 to 10 points.

    Reverse line movement?

I hate losing PJs depth and range, but Leslie McDonald does shoot 48% from 3, where PJ shoots 35%. I'd rather have them both but Leslie can flat fill it up where PJ is more streaky. Looking forward to seeing him get 20+ minutes.

Indiana -9 is the play. Without PJ, UNC loses some much needed depth. Expect a bad game from Marcus Paige, as he will be thrown into the fire against Indiana's feisty defense.

I would look for Ferrell for IU to play well and being a UNC fan, hopefully Paige will play well at the point. Look for Brice Johnson for UNC to get more minutes. Averages 8.7 pts. / 5 boards in 14 minutes a game. Might get some of Hairstons minutes.

    UNC is the play, here...

They've had a week to prepare. I wouldn't bet against a Roy Williams team (even with Hairston out) after that much time to prepare, watch tape, etc...Tom Crean said himself that IU hasn't seen a team that will run out on the break like UNC. those easy buckets in transition can keep a crowd quiet during the game. Its an equalizer. IU may win but not by double digits. They are also plagued by some injuries down low as well, if i'm correct.
