i would not back CSU tonight. they have major issues right now without D'Aundray Brown in the line-up, which hurts their pressure defense and ball movement on offense. Waters' comments after practice yesterday did not sound promising.

Biff, you nailed it. Look at their last few games without Brown - they lost them all. Drexel annhiliated them in Cleveland on Saturday. No play for me as of now, but that may change later. Cleveland not the same team without Brown and that is very evident.

i wish i were wrong, but wishing changes nothing. too bad because this team had nice chances both last year and this year to win the Horizon (esp this season with Butler down), but February 2011 and 2012 have both been brutal for the Vikes. it's too bad because i have a ton of respect for Waters as a coach. as soon as i read his comments from yesterday, i immediately crossed CSU off of my leans list. team is in a bad place mentally without Brown because now they know how much they need him. only hope is that he is back healthy for the HL tourney and CSU somehow runs the table.

Cleveland State is in awful form lately, and W-GB's been tough all year at home.

i never had a clue how valuable D'Aundray Brown was until he went out. they're like a completely different team with him, and he's their third leading scorer (not usually where you look for MVP candidate).
