    Tenn Tech +17

FSU is overrated, the Tenn Tech always recruits good althetes they will keep this game within 15.

FSU is a solid team, they took care of UF pretty good but the reason I like Tennessee Tech in this game, is becacuse its alot of points to cover. FSU plays great D and their offense can roll, but even if its going to be a D game in this I can see Ten Tech putting up 65 and no way FSU will get over 80. Now if its a shoot out, could get interesting but dont think that is how its going to be as the over/under right now is at 140

Yeah they can easily as they are averaging 79 to FSU 66 but think its going to be FSU on D tonight so its going to allow Tenn Tech to cover easily.

Glad you like it too, but you know I am against buying point especially .5. Think about it for a second basically you are betting that the spread will be right and you are paying an extra 10 dollars on every 100 that will only benefit you if one exact score comes out. Also you aren't even saving a loss you are turning a push into a win. Which means instead of breaking even you win your bet so instead of pushing on 100 you win 100. It makes more sense to turn a loss into a push such as 17.5 to 18. Then you turn a loss into a push so instead of losing 110 you push saving you 110, so that saves you 10 extra dollars in the event that it happens. For the bet you put in, it almost makes more sense to put 100 on +17 then put 5 dollars on a prop bet for Florida state to win by exactly 17, so you wouldn't be risking as much as buying the point and you would probaly get incredible odds on the +17 push, something like +800 or +900.

Yea not completely back yet, and I'm just average right now, I'm not rolling like I was, still trying to get it going again, I hope College Football Bowl season is my time to shine.

And yes consider what I said about buying points, a good way to track to see whether its worth it for you or not, is to write down every game you buy point on, and what it cost you. Then keep track over the next month how many times buying the point cost you a little extra money on the loss, and how many times it helped you win or push. I think you will be kind of amazed by the results. I used to buy points then I did what i just suggested to you, it ended up hurting me in the long run. Buying points is available just to make gamblers feel better about getting extra points, the amount of times it hurts compared to how many times it helps isn't very beneficial to you.

I love Tenn Tech too today. Nice analysis and I completely agree! Also, very interesting take on buying points. I typically do not do it in basketball but have often bought the hook in football (e.g. -2.5, +3.5, -6.5, or +7.5, etc) and I see your logic. I think I might have to rethink that practice.

For those key numbers it does make more sense, but again the only way to know whether they help or hurt is to track the number of times it helps compares to hurt. Obviously it will be different for different people and should be judged on a case by case basis.

This line is clearly inflated a bit toward florida state at 17 vs a small no-name school from an unfamiliar conference. Doing a bit o analysis on the matchup, its clear tenn. tech can score over 75 a game and it bodes well against an FSU team thats off to a fast start but has shown in the past to play down to its competition n therefore losing their edge here a bit. I was surprised to actually see 2 recruits, both freshmen, on Tenn. Tech that have an 88 rating between each, which shows they recruit decently for a realtively unknown program. Look for a bit of a letdown in intensity from FSU's side off an upset of intrastate rival FU as Tenn. Tech stays within this number throughout the game.

I don't have an opinion, but this one could be approaching SBR jinx territory. Lotsa folks on it. Seems like the right side though.

Yeah you would think so. But Ive noticeed the SBR Jinx mainly takes in effect in COllege football and NFL. Only seen it once or twice so far this season in NCAAB.

Tenn Tech should be +13...according to my model

I didn't pick this game, but it was in my short list. Tenn Tech should be +13. +17 is a gift.

I also took +9 Tenn Tech (-110) 2H @ 1 unit. I think they will keep it close, but fall 4-6 pts short in the end.
