remember george mason? final four is different than the previous rounds. VCU wont hit their 3's, butler knows how to win regardless of outside shooting. im predicting this before the VCU/Kansas game even ends, but i am assuming VCU hangs on to win. butler will most likely win by 8-10 points

vcu is george mason all over again. as soon as everybody gets on them, which is the final 4 and a much larger stage than they have been on up until this point, they will lose. and probably handily. shelvin mack will absolutely school joey rodriguez and i would love to see them try to run zone against butler. brad stevens will pick them apart

VCU will NOT dominate the glass against Butler. Kansas, Pitt, and ODU couldnt do it so no way VCU does it. Butler will slow VCU down and win the game. Not sure by how many though

I have bet against Butler every round of the NCAA Tournament for the last two years and I'm not about to start now. VCU sped up Kansas, they can speed up Butler. Matt Howard is nice but can he guard Jamie Skeen out on the perimeter? He's gonna go skeen skeen skeen skeen on Butler.
Butler is the much more experienced team and should take care of VCU.

This is a toss up. If the line is 4-5, give me the points all day. You have to figure VCU's shooting will come back to earth eventually, but I thought that would happen Fri or today too.

well since it is becoming nearly a coin flip, the more RATIONAL people would pick Butler ML and Uconn +2...
But in this crazy world where i thought Kansas AND OSU would contend for the championship the guys who overthrow the contenders are definitely vying to become champion. so therefore these are the correct picks:

I don't think it matter who has been here before. VCU knocked off what most everyone thought would NCAA champion this year. Yes Butler knocked of Pitt but there is no way they deserved a 1 seed. Maybe a 2-3. Though I am not trying to take away how big of a win it was for then. I went to Butler for a few semesters. but VCUs win over kansas was huge. I think I like VCU here. Love to see an 11 seed in the finals. Well we will either have an 8 or 11. Definitely didn't expect that.
it will be another great game probably coming down to the last possesion or two....
I think this can turn out to be a very interesting game.....Butler is the play for me though.

I'm taking Butler at +375 to win the title. Not that I necessarily think they will win it all, but I do believe they will beat VCU so for me, that's +375 in the title game and a hedge opp. Brad Stevens with a whole week to prepare = solid. Guy does more with less than any coach. Shaka Smart is showing to be a solid coach, but if VCU doesn't hit threes ... their chances of winning diminish greatly. Butler D is pretty solid vs. 3 point shooters. Butler also crafts each game differently whereas VCU plays their style, period and it either works or doesn't.
butler +375 does have great value though i see them being kemba'd in the finals. i cant believe how many people hopped on UK so fast, remember when they almost lost to princeton? i didnt trust uconn in the last game but the young guys proved to me they can step up
this pick is an absolute guarantee. butler will defeat vcu. i guarantee it
