The fact that a false line was put up is basically the same thing as the book taking the line off the board then, and this is not solid

Not only that but it is not the players responsibility to be on top of potential lines (although obviously even the squarest bettor in the world would have noticed something is off there)

Yes it is his responsibility. Any idiot would have known the line is bad, watch the video i posted about what to do with bad lines.
