Chicago bulls @ new jersey nets??

What do you guys think about this game? Will the bulls win? Chicago is on a 5 game winning streak and the nets are on a five game losing streak. Bulls away record is ok i guess but nothing special.

So what do u guys think? take bulls ml (which i migh play) or do do you think bulls -4.5 is a better play??

    appreciate any advice. thanks

New Jersey is9-25 straight up this year. The Nets are 1-4 ATS their last 5 games as underdogs. New Jersey is 3-8 ATS vs. Eastern Conference teams. The Nets are 1-6 ATS when their opponent scores 100 or more points in their last game.

Chicago is 23-10 straight up this year. The Bulls are 18-8 ATS their last 26 road games and they are 6-1 ATS after scoring 100 or more points in their last game. Chicago is 11-5 ATS vs. NBA Atlantic teams. The Bulls are 6-2 ATS their last 8 games as favorites of 4.5 to 10.5 points

The stats don't always tell the story but they seem to favour taking Bulls -4.5 which is what I also believe is the correct play. If you want to 'play it safe' so to speak then take them on the ML but obviously nothing is guaranteed in the NBA.

I'm worried about: "Though the Bulls have won four of five on the road overall, they’ve dropped two straight and 18 of 20 at New Jersey."

New Jersey is 15-1 SU in its last 16 games when playing at home against Chicago
New Jersey is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Who cares what NJs record vs the Bulls going back EIGHT years is. Is there is single player off these teams that is still there? I dont even know why people post these.

the 2nd trend is a nice one though.

    EDIT:
Or it would be nice if it was accurate. Nets are 3-2 ATS in last 5 vs .500+ team @home.

That deserves an even closer look thou. 4 of the 5 games had lines of 6 or more, they also lost all 4 of them.

NJ has been the perrenial joke of the NBA for a while now. To handle the Bulls 12 of 13 times at home does have some merit, regardless of how far it goes back.

I'm on CHI tonight as well, simply trying to lend credence as to why the line is so low, regardless of the b2b spot.

I love the Chicago Bulls in this game vs the NJ Nets...the Bulls have a five game winning streak and have won 14 of their last 16 games overall...the Nets have lost 14 of their last 17 and have scored 100 points twice in their last 15 games...the Nets rank 29th in scoring and 27th in shooting...that's enough for me...the Bulls are a LOCK

Dude, Nets were in the play-offs 8 years ago and the Bulls were the perennial loser. It has zero merit, less then zero.

As I mentioned, I was simply trying to understand the line - which I do now.... b2b wasn't good enough for CHI to only be favored by 4.5 imho.

It is possible for a team to be above .500 but have a loosing road record.... I was clarifying what you said was false.

NJ is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 home games vs. a team with a WINNING ROAD RECORD - mud in your eye?

    1) Let me try to help you under why the line is set so "low". The Bulls are not that good of a road team. The end. Understand now?

Look at the lines they had on the road all year, they are all 5 or under with the exception of ONE game. You think all those other teams are 18-1 against them too? That trend has zero impact on the line.

    2) As for the part in bold. This is either a joke, or you failed 1st grade math. I hope its a joke.

Bulls ml sounds good. The Nets always find a way to lose. Being blown out by the Timberwolves says it all. The Nets seem to always do well up until the 2nd half. Fading the Nets the 3rd quarter always looks good too.

The books are handing out free money tonight I supopse then huh? good for us!

and how is the bolded part a joke?

Yes, Nets are 3-2 ATS in last 5 at home vs. teams with a winning record.
of the 5 games you mention, how many of those opponents had WINNING ROAD RECORDS? only a couple of them you say, ok, remove the other games from your list of 5 and add the other games the Nets played vs teams with winning road records and what do you get? a 4-1 ATS record for those games. tit for tat already... who really ******* cares... we are both on the Bulls tonight.

    BOL to us both.

    I like the Bulls because:

NJ are 1-4 ATS last five.
The Bulls are better ATS overall.
The BUlls are 18-8 ATS in last 26 road games.

    And NJ sucks!

Huge Net fan here guys, I've made previous in-depth posts on the Nets game so far this season.

I am not touching this game, it could go either way to be honest. Although I wouldn't play the Nets here, Chicago is a much stronger team and like the above poster said, Chicago is on a tear, I don't go against the Nets, so this will be a no play for me.

    GL to all.

Nets are playing their worst basketball of the year right now. Starting Favors tonight, the kid will foul out within 12 min. Avery in desperation mode trying to spark this team somehow.

Favors gotta lead the lead in moving screens. Kid is borderline retard that he still doesnt get it. 3 fouls in 6 min, my prediction seems on point.
