And in the process succeeding in something that I think everyone in here knows is a longshot would be the added bonus. There will be some people in here that are actually betting on real money, so I'll find it rewarding that they may be banking off some of my plays. There is a 5x rollover on the free cash ($1k) that I'll receive but by the time I reach the $25k I will have bet more than the required amount ($5k) so I'm not too worried about cashing out at the end of this.
Its not easy but its not impossible. If you do well great. If you fail then at least you didn't spend any of your paycheck. Because of the rollover amount you could go with the free play because the larger rollover amount won't matter because of your goal.

Another option is to work on a $50 cash/freeplay first then play points and that $50. If you can complete the rollover on the $50 you can become pro then you will have double the amount per day to work toward the $1000.

No matter which way you do it I hope you reach your goal.

Flexin, the free plays aren't offered for my sportsbook. I agree with your comment on going pro and in fact, i had been thinking about that. Getting the $50 goal sounds like a good idea and in the long run will probably help me get to the goal faster/easier. One step at a time though, I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Great insight though, thanks!

Yeah I forgot to mention that point, the cash offers have more choices for sportbooks.

I'm working on a free play ($50) that I bought with points. I'm trying to do something with it. My goal was a $250 cash/freeplay but I decided to get the $50 then I could work that while building points up again. Gives me something else to play with alone with my account I fund myself.

So glad I noticed this thread, I had no idea you could trade in betpoints for a free play. However, I only have an account with 5Dimes, and I don't see that as an available Sportsbook.

Nvm - just saw that under Sportsbook cash, 5Dimes is available. It takes a lottt more points though lol. With a free play, u dont get the free play amount back if you win correct? But with cash, I guess you would...

That's correct Nick, you don't get the free play cash if you win the bet, you only receive the winning amount. Glad you saw the thread as well, now you've got some options for your points!

You can open a new account with another book to use the other ones.

Freeplay gives you an amount you can bet all of or part of and they take your bet back win or lose. What you get to keep is anything you win. Then you have to rollover that amount an X number of times to get to withdraw that money. Which isn't that bad because why take it off before you have something worth taking out? You will win some and lose some and they both count toward your rollover.

Good Luck to you. Honestly, is good as your intentions are and they are attainable but you will have to take some shots along the way. $1,000 in cash exchanged by points is well over 10K pts. Initially you have to grind and get lucky to get together some points, but along the way you will have to take some nice shots and hit them...maybe not all in's but large % of BR to get an opportunity. Nevertheless, I hope you all the best..

Thanks for the comments lyon, I agree this won't be easy. The hard part will be in the beginning months but I feel if I can get through those I'll have a chance at surviving towards the middle/end of the year.

I agree that he will need to take shots to get there in a reasonable amount of time. I would also stay away from that all in's unless your under a hundred.

Also to get the $25000 at the end of the year it might be a good idea to start buying the cash before reaching the $1000 mark since the largest you can buy is $250. If you use that route I would wait till your over the amount needed for the $250 so its not like your starting over. If your over the mark buy a few hundred points it allows you to make good sized bets still. When I bought my $50 I just missed the mark 3 times before hitting it so I didn't go over by much. So I only had about 20 points to play with after buying it which slowed me down.

Magic look flat in the first half and Warriors look flat in the second half. First loss of the year, although Minnesota looking good right now with the outright lead.

Wolves lose the lead late in the game but still easily cover the 8 point spread! Going to still profit with the 6 point post tomorrow but tomorrow's card looks good.

Nice work. I had Boston in a sbr parlay and teaser. Because of my bet on Miami I only had a small loss for the day.

I'm going to have time a little later to look at the rest of the games and see some line movements. I'll look into your leans as well, OKC jumps out at me but we'll see.

I dont think i would play LA anymore. Mavs probably too depending on if Dirk plays. No Heat. I would still give you OKC and Kings (but not at +6 since the line moved to 5, basically whatever the line is thats what we would bet, no special line, just no juice).

I'm tempted to take OKC but I think I'll stay away. I went with Atlanta instead of the Kings so looks like we're on the same side for that one.

Yeah, i see a few peeps that like Kings around here (trusted cappers), line moving that way too. I dont trust it though, Kings still suck bad, especially riding a 2 game win streak, can't do anything but fade that when it comes to such a crap team. Atl is solid on the road too. Might just leave this one alone then.

Might take the Grizz ML, might pass.
