Looks Like Jazz Line is Rising>>>

So I am passing tonight. I know that home favorites down 0-2 in Game 3 has been the Holy Grail, but I just don't want to give more than around -3 to Kobe.

I think the Lakers will win one of these in Utah so I will be playing Lakers ML in both.

I got Lakers, they have dominated the Jazz this season and I get +5, pretty easy pick for me, Lakers are the best team in the playoffs.

I wouldn't buck the trend ryan, so Jazz or pass. I choose pass.

LT, so you don't want to give Kobe 3 and now you could get 5 but you aren't because the other two series went to the home team so that is why you are staying off this one?

I get 62-41 ATS for Game 3 home favorites of -4 or more that are down 0-2 in the series. This year, it is 5-1.

I still am not going against the Lakers here, they are dominating the Jazz and they haven't followed the trend as they discarded Denver in game 3. This team is good enough to win anywhere not just at home and 5 points is alot when you are talking about a team that scores points on everyone in any arena.

Have fun watching the game LT

Not to say you're wrong, but this is the kind of thinking that gets people in trouble. The MJ-Bulls were the best team in the playoffs most years and they struggled against Utah in Utah. This is not a "which team is better" situation. In fact, when wagering, I'm reluctant to say that's EVER the case. Was Atlanta a better team than Boston? Could it even be argued? What matters is who is the best team TONIGHT. If I were betting the Lakers, I certainly would be clinging to those 5 or 5.5 points, rather than taking that sucker ML wager.

That inflated line had everyone jumping on the Lakers ML at +175 and up and to me that is the trap in this game. I agree that it's Utah or pass, but if I was dead-set on the Lakers, I'd be taking those 5+ points instead of viewing this as a bargain opportunity to snag the Laker ML.

Again opinions are like assholes, but this is my 2 cents.
