Starting Tuesday (April 1), we will start a new April Hoops Parlay Contest with a prize of $250 account at 5 Dimes, 3 time roll-over. Last place will receive a $25 5 Dimes account with a 3 time roll over. If there is a tie for last place in both units and game-by-game record (15 parlay minimum), there will be NO last place prize.

1. Check in the NBA BASKETBALL HANDICAPPING FORUM each day for the daily thread to be posted by LT Profits. Lines will be posted by 1:00 p.m. (ET) each day. Plays may be posted before that, but the official posted lines will be used for grading.

2. Posted spreads and totals are the only eligible plays for grading, no Money Lines or Halves allowed. NBA, NCAA Men's and beginning April 1, NCAA Women's games included.

3. Two-game parlay picks, laying 10 to win 26. Post entire parlay at same time, no open parlays.

4. Here’s the catch: Your play must include a write-up! The write-up does not have to be long, just a sentence or two about why you are making your play. If need be, please refer to prior month's contests for examples.

5. Entries that are past-post or do not have analysis for both games will be NO ACTION. Once your two-team parlay has been posted, you CANNOT change either play. Any edited post will count as a LOSS! If you make a mistake (such as leaving out "Over" or "Under" or not clearly stating your selection), need to add analysis or wish to enter corrected lines, do so in a separate post. This holds true even if the first game on the schedule did not tip off yet. It also holds true for past-posts and entries with no analysis. It does NOT hold true for posts that are not parlay selections, i.e. standings, commentary posts or congratulatory posts.

6. And here’s the fine print:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
• One entry per household and IP address.
• Must use lines posted in daily thread by LT Profits
• Maximum one parlay pick per day, minimum 15 parlay plays required to be eligible for monthly prize.
• Tiebreaker for first place - Win % of individual parlay legs. If still tied, combatants will carry on a head-to-head parlay match until winner determined.
• All decisions made by SBR with regards to this contest are final.
• SBR employees eligible to participate but are not eligible to win the monthly prize.

RAPTORS -4: Raptors are 7-1 ATS last eight vs. Orlando in Toronto, and they showed a lot of heart coming back after losing Game 1 and going down 18 in Game 2, coming within a missed last-second shot of a split. The Magic could very well relax here with a 2-0 lead.

CAVALIERS/WIZARDS OVER 190: I think the Wizards play their best game of the series tonight, which should translate to more offense. Washington home games have average 197.5 combined points this year, and even Cleveland road games have averaged 193.6. I know that defense is more important in the playoffs, but just like Orlando, Cleveland could be a bit lax with a 2-0 lead.

HOU-UTA O182: Utah plays much more up-tempo at home. I see them dropping at least 100 on the Rockets in front of their fired-up crowd. The Rockets should muster 82.

Raptor's -4-Toronto played them tough the last game and never quit in the first game despite being behind all day. It's going to be raucous in the Air Canada arena, and the raptors will be at their best with the home crowd behind them.

Cav vs Over 190-This should go high for several reason's, but the key one is the zebra's will probably make a lot of chippy foul calls. You could smell blood in this game, and a lot of scoring without the clock moving equals high scoring opportunities.

518 Toronto Raptors -4: Toronto has started out extremely slow in both game. I don't think that happens in front of their hometown crowd and they have to feel pretty good about the comeback they made in game 2.

519 Cleveland Cavaliers/Washington Wizards Over 190: With the series in the Cavs control I expect a the Wiz to come out firing and let up after the offensive disappointment in game 2 in which they shout a dismal 37%.
