NBA wagering notes/ rules

Rule 1.... Try not to bet on weak teams on the road that

are playing another weak team... weak team are

unpredictable... But if the weak team seems to be

improving and motivated give em a look....

rule 2..... "underdogs at home are the bookies favorite". becareful of what dog u pick on...

Rule 3...... Never chase your losses sleep it off...



Rule 4.... Never over think or over

anaylze games first impressions are usually right.....

Rule 5..... Have your own power ranking,Stay informed and educated with current news topics and don't believe or follow tv

experts, become your own expert....

Rule 6.... No impulse betting...

Rule 7... Never make a bet before u have checked all the

news that u can find on that team...be very updated before

you make a bet on the team you are wagering on.... i know this one is similiar to rule 5 but this is very important...

rule 8.... Never get greedy... And Do not be scared to pull the trigger, no action.... No win....



9. Too much conservative behavior will make you miss

great chances at having a edge.

9a. Set a weekly or bi-weekly or monthly goal to achieve

off of your bankroll....

10. analyize games with logic, then compare logic with

stat's and then the teams motivation to win, plus your power ranking

and then you should be able to find the team with the edge

for that day....

11. Remember everyday is a new day, there are no carry

over or automatic wins always analyize your games...

12...Remember always A weak team will most of the time

always find a way to lose... and the opposite is true for

a good team....

13...Watch as many games daily as you possibly can,

basketball is different from football and other sports, by

watching games, it gives u a edge... and a feel for a

team... you will be able to judge better if a team is

playing well or not... which is very important to help in

capping a game...

14. Remember vegas sets the line sometimes on what the

public thinks about a team.... If u stay informed and

follow all the teams you will be able... easily to find

advantages through a long nba season...

15. never ride a hot team too long, never assume what you

think a team should do, always look for the edge, through

studying stats and watching games..

16. During a long N.b.a season look for momemtum and

motivation to win... either through the superstar of the team or

the coach of the team....

17. Once analyzing and it's time to make a wager, make the

choice with confidence, if you are not confident in your

pick, do not play it...

18... After anaylzing and you make your pick and your pick

loses, study game to see and understand why you made the

pick if it's your fault correct your capping.. if it's the

team fault and they was a strong favorite... make a note

of it.. it may turn into A edge in the future for you..

19..... practice discipline, one lapse in discipline can cost you, i say practice because discipline is something u will never completly have total control of....

These are just a few things that helped me out this season through trial and error.... If anyone have any suggestions or opinions on my notes/rules.... please chime in......

thanks for the tips , it sounds like a lot of work. mostly i just play unders, but if i am playing a side here is another rule i use:

don't bet on a team that played the night before and then had to travel

It's important to understand, that even correct picks do not win every time. So if your pick loses, that doesn't necessarily mean that you made a bad choice.

Too tired to read through this but will definitely read through and see if I can contribute anything since the last couple of months have been all about learning how to cap the game.
