    Houli,

I got 23-7 S/U on the Cavs combined. and 17-13 combined on Celts.. Zach Zarba is the key though. He is the one that reffed the OKC game at the Garden when Garnett and Rivers called them out for calling fouls like Durant was ' Michael Fukking Jordan"--KG lol..

If memory serves right, Salvatore was one of the refs that screwed the celts in boston early in the season when they played the hawks. I remember because someone here had a thread asking who the refs were and pay attention. Let me see if I can find the game and thread

yeah i agree with lyon, i just checked covers .com and theres a few more losses for clevland ... something interesting i saw tho was that all 3 refs have officiated about 70 games and all 3 individually have a losing ATS record for home teams...

I only counted this season. I feel past season results are irrelevant. New players/ new set of orders from up top(Stern)

Cavs got all the calls and non-calls the first two games.
will it be just as bad in Boston ? I don't know..
will it determine the winner ? it didn't last game.
Celtics are playing a higher level of ball by far than they did in the regular season.
i looked it over and don't see any glaring red flags

Thanks lyon, was searching through the threads. Anyway, here is the recap yahoo had on that game. Talking about 3 T fouls etc. How doc was yelling at Salvatore. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2010011102

    Celts were favored by 3.5 O/U 198 Celts outscored in 4th 25-16

The stats are nice but none of the Cavs wins were really hard to get, Most were against weak teams anyways, but interesting stat nonetheless. It at least shows those refs are not anti-cavs.

if i calculated correctly... the celtics are a combined 1-5 at home this year when one of the 3 officials tonight are in the game... while the cavs are 7-1 on the road...

It looks that way, but the line went the other way. If Cavs play again like they have refs can't help them. Interesting to know how it happens... I wish I was a sharp so i would know

I think its absurd to try to pick a game based on the refs. And for people to remember that refs have their favorite teams too

if you pick a game soley based on refs, its kind of "absurd" ...but if you are leaning one way and the refs' track record backs u up, then its an extra incentive....

refs have their favorite teams because stern tells them who their favorite teams are lol

if you don't think that refs influence game outcomes then you are just being ignorant...

I dont think the Refs had shit to do with this game.

Its was all LeBron, and a great gameplan by Mike Brown. He put Anthony Parker on Rondo, and it kept Rondo out of the paint. Its no secret Mo Williams is a Shit defender, especially out of the pick and roll. Ray Allen tooled him early, but LeBron put the game away early.

I am an idiot for taking celtics here even after spouting how whats his face screwed celts before. Maybe they didnt have an influence, but they should have made me back off.

Cavs put their feet on the Celtics' necks, plain and simple.

i think they had a little to do with it...after the first quarter the game was basically over, but in that first quarter it seemed like the celtics couldn't buy a call, even the fans would sarcastically cheer towards the end when one actually went their way... but even if they woulda called it even from the start, Lebron was on a mission last night...
