lakers will not lose the 1st round to a young inexperienced team, anyone want to bet 100 points for it?i don't have enough points now but i can have 100 points before the series ends
I agree, but I don't think they will beat the Lakers. They might win 2 games. It's just a shame they have to face the Lakers though. I don't see how Portland is what 5th seed? How is that LOL. Portland??? With all the injuries?
for some reason i think they send okc packing early.
people talk about golden state, but they ran an awkward offense and didn't miss a shot in that series, except for the 3 games they lost. they went on to get absolutely buried by the jazz in the second round. i just don't think the thunder has what it takes to throw the lakers off of their game at all, i see a quick out for okc.
just speculation though, okc does have some good talent and could lengthen the series. like shoe said, it really depends on which lakers team shows up.
G state was not as good of a team as OKC is today. G state was just a nightmare match-up for Dallas, if Avery Johnson would of just told his guys not to give G State all that space on the floor they would of been fine. Also that year Dallas had the 1 seed pretty much with a month or two in the season and they rested a ton of guys down the stretch and most of the stars on Dallas at the time were not in playing shape.
I like OKC to take one of the early matches.
I agree with most posters that the Laker's experience will help them evetually take the series, but it may take some time for LA to Westbrook's speed and toughness may cause problems for LA. Westbrook averaged over 8 assists a game against the lakers this season.
