    I don't mind as long as they don't start awarding draft picks for hiring woman like NFL is doing with minority coaches. That doesn't sit well with me. I'm not a big fan of discrimination in the name of equality. It's backwards thinking.

    Women coaches can probably coach basketball as well as men. There definitely are some NCAA womens coaches that would do better than men coaches. Hammon is definitely better than some NBA coaches.

    The only real question how well they can recruit.

    Only thing that is certain about women coaching at the pro or college level...
    They wont be fat slobs like most of these overweight overpaid head coaches we see today.
    Plenty of 400 lb coaches in both the college and pro ranks.....
    Can you imagine a 400 lb blob of a woman walking the sidelines ala Mark Mangino?

    Women should stick to coaching women sports, men coaching men. That makes the most sense.

    How well do you really think male pro athletes will respond to a female coaching them when they've been coached up by men their entire lives?

    I can see athletes shaming them and laughing at them behind their backs. Lack of respect shown in other words.

    You have to remember, most of these NBA players were raised by their grandmas so they actually respect women more than men. They don't respect other men since they didn't have any father figures.
