Only a complete fool would choose Jordan.

Lebron is FAR superior to Jordan, athletically/physically speaking.
Jordan no brainer for me... Mention Shaq in his prime that might be a different story though..

93-94 Bulls (no Jordan) won 55 games
78-79 Lakers (before Magic) won 47 games
91-92 Lakers (after Magic) won 43 games
88-89 Celtics (Bird played six games) won 42 games
92-93 Celtics (after Bird) won 48 games

When LeBron left Cleveland and Miami, they plummeted; when he returned to Cleveland, they instantly contended. The last time the Cavs advanced past the first round of the playoffs without LeBron was in 1993.

You can't be the best NBA Player ever when you're a Drama Queen. Guy ruined his own legacy with his antics.

    Jordan never cried.

    Kobe Bryant never cried.

What’s crazy is LeBrons best years of his career may still be ahead of him. That’s what’s insane is all of the LeBron Jordan comparisons are based on a guy that may have 5 more years of greatness ahead of him that may be better than the 15 that are cause for debate.

You have a selective memory. Bryant wanted out of LA prior to the Pau trade. With Odom, Fisher, and a young Bynum on his side the Lakers were an 8th seed.

Bryant 20X more clutch than Lebum on game winning shots... it's not even close.

Jordan was drafted into a franchise with a great GM. The Pippen trade genius. Oakley for Cartwright, brilliant. Drafting Grant, Kukoc etc

You can say James fvcked up his own franchise, but they made poor decisions early in his career. Larry Hughes for god's sake. Wally Sczerbiak. B.Wallace when the Pistons were finished with him.

Kobe wanted to be like Jordan.. Learned all the Jordan moves and copied his swag.. I know because I watched Kobe's entire career close up in LA..

Lebron and Kobe still are no Mike... There is only one MJ... King of basketball still...

    How about this fellas
Lebron James is the modern day Jordan, he is as close to Jordan in dominance as anyone and he is playing the best ball of his career right now. So let's just enjoy it

Usually, I can buy in on greatness and appreciate it, no matter the team
But with LeBron, the "decision" put me solidly in the " he`s a D-bag camp" for a few years.
Since them, have gone back and forth on his whiney bitch ass.

MJ, Magic, Duncan, Kobe, Dr.J, etc.....my awe never wavered.

LeBron's physical attributes and his athleticism are what make him special. I still think pound for pound, Jordan did more with less.

Ask yourself this: replace LeBron with prime Jordan and do the Cavs beat Golden State last year? Hell no. It's one of the best teams ever assembled. Replace LeBron with prime Jordan back when the Cavs lost in the finals to the Spurs. Could Jordan have won that series with that team? God no. That was back when LeBron was carrying a god awful team kicking and screaming to 60+ wins a season. He didn't have a goddamn Pippen. Those teams would have been utterly MISERABLE without Lebron. Yet during MJs retirement we saw what the Bulls could do led by Pippen and it was still pretty damn good, even if it wasn't championship caliber

Only finals loss I think Lebron was at all to blame for was against the Mavs. But the guy is an absolute monster, and he's carried teams that would've otherwise been complete garbage. He deserves a massive amount of credit, and the argument that he's better than MJ is extremely valid

^^^I think MJ in his prime would do more for this Cavs team then Lebron this year.. MJ would score more points, grind on his teammates to play harder and better.. Jordan's defense would be better on the other teams best player. People forget just how good Jordan was on defense..

Lebron is the best player in the sport today but he's not the best player of all time like Michael Jordan still is..

We as people tend to live in the moment & as time goes by some memories begin to fade as they are replaced with new ones.

But the majority of us never forget completely.

LeBron is great but only equal to Bird, Magic, Shaq, & others.

MJ is in a league of his own.

lebron could hit 50 more game winners and people's bias would still say he's not clutch or as good as jordan was

at this point in jordan's career he had a losing record with the wizards, can anyone imagine lebron missing the playoffs, even with a team full of bums?

nobody has been as good for as long as lebron, not even close... and if we're going by championships then throw them both out and vote bill russell... but it's a team sport and everyone should agree that jordan had the better team around him

sorry but it's completely the opposite

people in their 40s and older now think the music, movies, and athletes they grew up watching were better than the current versions

have you ever heard an old-timer say "wow that music we had when i was a kid was terrible"

Anyone who think this warriors team would beat Jordan's bulls is high on something imo.
Who's Green bullying around? KD will seriously match-up with Jordan like he did LeBron?
Don't be fooled, LeBron isn't playing any superior team than Jordan did.

Best team lebron beat was 2016 warriors that won 73 regular season games - only because curry was hurt - and a kyrie clutch 3 pointer in game 7

if level of competition is the guide then no old-time athletes would ever be considered good

arnold palmer played against a bunch of fat guys smoking cigarettes
muhammad ali fought against guys taking dives because they were afraid of getting shot
doyle brunson played against guys that couldn't even do math
bill russell and wilt chamberlain played against teams full of white guys

LeBron's problem is simple. He has lost too many finals. You can't be called the goat and lose 5 finals. LeBron is a legend and top 5 all time.

Jordan NEVER lost in the finals. The people who love James point out how Jordan lost some first round series. That is all they have. They make so many excuses for James. No excuses to be made for Mike. When he got to the finals he won. Every time.

    Jordan is the GOAT
    James not far behind

    Jordan is more legendary
    Bigger name and brand

It is an identity for people 33-50 years old who dont want to let go and wear their windbreaker jackets from the 90s to work with mullets

James best in last 20 years
