Man oh man, tough night last night. Lightning never showed up, which I was afraid of when the line kept shifting in their favour throughout the day... And Wizards had a 15 point lead for most of the game and ended up winning by 8... -.- Sometimes that's the way she goes. Bounce back day, today!
Phoenix Suns vs. Sacramento Kings // Feb 3

Tip-off

Luckily for both these two teams, someone has to win. The Phoenix Suns (15-34) and the Sacramento Kings (19-30) duke it out in an Western Conference match between two not-so heavyweights.
Desert sun

The Suns are last place in the Western Conference and are second to last in the entire NBA behind the lowly Brooklyn Nets. The Suns are 3-7 in their last 10 games and are currently on a five-game losing skid.

It doesn’t really matter where the Suns play this season, the results generally remain the same. The Suns are 7-18 on the road. Even scoring the first points in a game has a challenge for the Suns as of late. The Suns have not held a lead at any point in their last two games. But scoring points hasn’t been a problem for the Suns, it’s keeping the other team from cruising down the court at will that poses the biggest problem. They have given up 120 or more in three out of their last four games and at least 100 in 12 straight. Despite their ugly season, the Suns know how to score. They are 11th in the NBA and have scored over 100 points in 13 out of their last 14 games.
Tonight they face a pretty weak Kings team against which they are 9-7-1 ATS against when playing as the road dog.

A kingdom in ruins

Stop laughing, Kings fans. You’re just as much a hilarious punching bag as the Suns are. The Kings are also 3-7 in their last 10 games and are on a two-game losing streak. And if you thought home court advantage was something to hang your hat on, think again. The Kings have more wins on the road than at home as they are 8-13 on their own floor.

Nevertheless, if there is a time for the Kings to turn it around, it is now. The Kings don’t have to worry about travel arrangements for the foreseeable future; they are playing 12 of their next 14 games at home. DeMarcus Cousins remains the Kings brightest star in a frustrating season. Cousins averages over 28 points per game and is third in the entire league in total points.
The Kings are only 6-14 ATS when they are slated as a home fav of 4+ points...
The Final Breakdown

Hard to believe that this is the play, but tonight we're backing the Phoenix Suns on the road to cover the points. Might even consider taking a nice juicy +money ML as well.
