A few simple observations and questions about EFG % /Stat nerds please opine

The league average EFG% is 50.22%, excluding the Warriors nearly every single team averages around 50% anyway. The Caves shot 52.7% and were #2 in the league, while the lowly Nets shot 49.2%. and ranked 22 in the league. So there is only like a 2% difference between the 2nd and 22nd best EFG% in the whole NBA.

The same with Offensive rebounds, and turn overs are a freaking joke. There is only like a one percent difference between the worst teams and the best teams. How can you gauge anything with numbers being this close?

If you throw in the league average for each stat in the 4 factors and compare each team to the league average there is almost no difference at all between the two teams your capping. So how do you go about exploiting an edge when nearly every two teams you cap are playing at the average or just barley below or over. Is being 1% better in forcing turnovers on the defense really that significant at all?

Any thoughts on this subject would be very much appreciated.

Thank You all and DANG IT FEELS GOOD TO BE ON THE THUNDER TONIGHT.
