    Will Lakers go big tonight?

    wizards-lakers -8
    the wizards are falling apart, and the lakers are just waiting for opportunity to thrash someone..but it's a big spread on the road..

    8 does seem to be a big spread on the road. The Wiz have lost 3 straight at home and you would expect them to come out and give it their all against the champs in the last night of 6 game home stand. They have two days off following this game before going to New Jersey so if they get down early their should be no reason for them to throw in the towel. On the other side, the Lakers have not started this 8 game road trip the way they would have liked having lost 2 of their first 3. Im looking to stay away from this one.

    the spread is higher than expected, but the lakers won't lose 3 out of 4 games, they will come strong into this one, maybe they can even cover..

    I love the Lakers personally and have been a fan for as long as I can remember, but they always seem to make an unknown player on the opposing team seem like an All-Star! I wonder who that will be tonight on the Wiz? In the end, Lakers win, but may not cover...especially if they have a big lead and our bench will allow the score to creep back down towards the line.

    I'm thinking that with this long road trip and another game tomorrow, Phil may rest the starters after building a big lead and let the subs play more in the 4th if not the entire Q... Thus, allowing the lead to evaporate back closer towards the line, if not under it.

    on this road trip lakers have not been playing well. the cavs game was a kobe/lebron show (no team ball). the knicks played decent at home but the lakers ran away in the 4th and won by 10 (covered the spread). the raptors matched well with a decent bench. with all that said...

    who does the wizards really have?

    yeah, they should put some pressure on them and if jamison really doesn't play, lakers can limit them to 85, maybe 90 points in best case..
