Where are the Westbrook haters now?

Dude was aggressive and instead of burning 1-2 seconds more he got a three point play to seal it.

I'll be in Vegas Thursday to watch OKC close this series out!

Westbrook is a beast. More valuable than KD.

Goodbye kd. Is the next break point. We are looking forward to seeing Miami vs Cleveland and thunder vs golden St. Possible and more importantly a media stage. I'd go on more about that when the time comes. I'm watching highlights now. Didn't watch yet

Thats why, as an OKC fan, I've had a Westbrook avatar the last four years.

KD is great but there isn't anyone in the league that can guard Westbrook. KD can get taken out of games.

Westbrooks problem is channeling his energy but that's also what makes him great.

    Agree 100% mate.

Now that Kobe & Garnett have retired, Westbrook is the closest thing we have to a stone cold killer in this league. The guy that will just do anything, whatever it takes & doesn't give a Fukc what people think.
(I wish he would stop dancing though & make more of those mad dog faces haha)

Negative. Young Michael and Giannis. Did you see the play in which Giannis got the rebound , went full court, Euro stepped Westbrook, then dunked on ibaka with the left hand?!

There is no might about it. He is the most athletic guy in the NBA now, not sure about ever.
Even Lebron is a level below.
The Greek freak is certainly not at Westbrooks level.

Never hated him, just his gorilla chest thumping routine after meaning less plays.
I have actually grown out of my dislike as he seems to have calmed it down a tad.

Would take him on my team any day.

The next step for him would be working on any weaknesses in his game in the off-season.
    The greatest one always did.

I have seen Westbrook taken out of several games....usually by himself with his low basketball iq.

I always knew it was KD holding this team back. The fragile dude always got taken out of games and didn't show up in crunch time.

Now watch as Westbrook wins an MVP.

    Westbrook, you da real MVP.

Called it when Durant was still on the Thunder.

Called it when Durant Bailed in July.

Am I vindicated yet? If he doesn't win MVP it's a crime.

Def right about the MVP part. He surely deserves it.

Wrong about Durant holding the team back. If they didn't have Durant, OKC would never be in a position last year to beat GSW let alone even have a 3-1 lead. If they had Durant this year, you could easily bet they would beat Houston, but without him they won't be able to. Durant not showing up in crunch time is a whole different discussion.

You're exactly right. I was kind of kidding about Durant holding them back. With that said, Durant had a championship team and couldn't deliver the goods. So close and he couldn't deliver with players like Harden, Westbrook, Ibaka, Waiters, etc.

Durant literally had three top 5 players on his team and he couldn't get it done. He was the leader back then somits his fault.

OKC wasn't going to win with Durant. Durant isn't an alpha. They won't win with this squad either but at least we can see what Westbrook can truly do. Thats what I was trying to say with the "holding them back" comment.

Durant can get a ring with GSW but no one is going to care. People will probably remember Westbrook more for this season than Durant.

For sure Durant not being able to do anything with the big 3 there says alot about him. Although it is possible if somehow those 3 had still been in OKC there is a chance they'd have a ring by now.

And yeah I think Westbrook will be remembered more for this record just because Durant winning in GSW was the obvious outcome anyway all year, so not very impressive.
