firing McHale might make a difference for a few games..
but then Harden's underachieving will take over
the problem is Harden's massive Adidas contract..
he literally makes SO much money.. that it is a motivation killer.
in some guys it's ok. LeBron.. Kobe.. Michael.. they just want to be the best so badly..
that it functions like an addiction.
but with Harden, he just wants to be recognized as a Top-Tier,
now that he has that Adidas contract.. he feels he has satisfied
those requirements (or he would not have that contract)
and his belly is full. stuffed actually.
for a person like that, a complete motivation killer.
i really can't see Harden winning a championship with him as the leader.
it has to be somebody else. the Thunder really was a perfect team for him
to excel, because he would always be considered UNDER Durant and Westbrook.
Which makes him work much harder.
He's the No.1 man on the Rockets, nothing to catch up to.. no carrot to chase
