    it's not McHale... it's Harden.

firing McHale might make a difference for a few games..
but then Harden's underachieving will take over

the problem is Harden's massive Adidas contract..
he literally makes SO much money.. that it is a motivation killer.

in some guys it's ok. LeBron.. Kobe.. Michael.. they just want to be the best so badly..
that it functions like an addiction.

but with Harden, he just wants to be recognized as a Top-Tier,
now that he has that Adidas contract.. he feels he has satisfied
those requirements (or he would not have that contract)

and his belly is full. stuffed actually.

for a person like that, a complete motivation killer.

i really can't see Harden winning a championship with him as the leader.
it has to be somebody else. the Thunder really was a perfect team for him
to excel, because he would always be considered UNDER Durant and Westbrook.
Which makes him work much harder.

He's the No.1 man on the Rockets, nothing to catch up to.. no carrot to chase

he is another one... but Harden is a larger problem, as the team leader.
i think his record setting poor performance in the playoffs, took a lot of air out of this team.
They all just kinda realized "we're not going to win here"

and now they are all just collecting paychecks

Harden, Dwight Howard, and Ty Lawson, good luck to anyone that wants to coach them.
Talk about steering a boat without a rudder!

Further dude is double cursed by both Lil B and the Kardashians -- this will not end well but it will definitely end up with him on the lakers through free agency

harden is overrated . Idc about last year stats . Look at the game away vs golden state when he passes the ball to Howard in the 3pt line with less than 4 seconds smh . He ain't a leader . He's an above avg player .

Agreed... I see the talking idiots on ESPN like Wilbon trying to deflect and blame Dwight and protect the name brand players like Harden...and I am not buying it for a minute...I said it at the beginning of the year...Khloe has been talking about Harden non stop all year...his nose is so deep in Karadashian Puzzy he cannot see past the front of the rim...

He is 27 and 103 in 3 point attempts made this year !!!!!!!!!! Heard an interesting stat on True Hoops TV the other day that Steph Curry could go 0 for 88 over his next 88 3 point attempts and still be shooting a higher percentage than James Harden from 3!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

This fool has a mask and glove when he picks up his cheques. They brought in Ty Lawson, himself another idiot who has to be monitored. Just a matter of time before he lands himself with another DUI..Its not about McHale...Its not about Howard who has been playing well despite injuries...its about Harden who has been shooting almost has bad as Jelly Bean Bryant...Coach Killer...

McHale is definitely getting the last laugh. He just signed a $12 million extension. He's laughing all the way to the bank!

Harden is shooting way too many 3's, yes. He's averaged like 6 a game every year since he's been with the Rockets which is a good number for him. 9 is too much.

Other than that, overreaction. Isn't he averaging ike 27 7 and 6 or something like that? Keep in mind he's getting to the line 11 times a game before talking about shooting percentages too.

How about we have a look at some of the other underperforming players on this team?

    Kardashians is a curse.

that decision to go with her (she's NOT good-looking)
if she were NOT a Kardashian, NO WAY they are dating. he can do much better that that
    chunk-face, let me tell you

he is obsessed with status and not what it takes to really create it..
like rich kids that are obsessed with being rich.. but inheriting wealth, not 'creating' wealth

Harden is the same.. just wants to be No.1 player on team, largest salary.
but not the day-in, day-out behavior that creates dominance in the NBA

and make no mistake, even bench players are very good players..
to dominate in the NBA you need to be supremely talented, and supremely DRIVEN.

talent alone in this league, is a ticket to play, but not to win

Harden 45 pts.. in the OT win... mostly from the line.

did not watch the game.. look like he shot about .350 FG%

let's see if this wakes him up.
Harden requires novelty and inspiration from an exterior source,
he cannot will himself to victory.

he will get bored with the new circumstances... and will suck again soon,
    he kinda sucked tonight, really
a team with that payroll shouldn't require OT to win at home,
especially vs. a team that lost their most dominant player (Aldridge) to the Spurs.

i kinda had high hopes for Houston,
but Harden does not have what it takes to a be team leader.

you knew that when he left the Thunder. literally over $5M
it had to be "MAX DEAL" a few million short was "no-dice"
anyone who could not recognize how rare that team was historically,
    is not a team leader.

Better to be a Kevin McHale on the Bird Celtics..
than a McHale on another team
that never went to the Finals.
