Jason Kidd - Coach of the Year and it not even close...

The Eastern Conference is not weak...Jabari is done for the year....and Miami has a superior roster and the Bucks are currently...4 games up on the 8 spot which the Heat currently sit in....sorry folks....hate him or love him....Jason Kidd is thus far, coach of the year...and its that simple.....

Budenholzer is a lock to get it if the Hawks can somewhat keep this up.

Budenholzer Kerr and Kidd top 3.

Casey isn't far behind based on the criteria op seems to have. But awarding it to a easten conference coach would be disgusting. Same with MVP and anymore than 1 spot on each all NBA team.

You know..I had forgotten him...my tendency to ignore the Hawks is the culprit...can't ignore them now...and in all likelyhood..Budenholzer will likely get it, if Casey doesn't knock him out of the playoffs...

I don't see anything wrong with an Eastern Conference coach getting the award. In fact, if anything, they are more deserving. It is almost impossible to finish with a loosing record if you are coaching a Western Conference team...the rosters are stacked...and yet half of them play no defense and wash out in the playoffs...(Clippers, Suns and Rockets)...Casey, Thibs, Kidd, are all overachievers considering the kinds of rosters they have to work with...they clearly deserve consideration...

3 good candidates no doubt. Have to agree more with Seto's list here however. Waukee doing what they always do even pre-Parker /Kidd just good enough to slip into 8 hole. Hawks and GSW have taken it to a whole other level this season.
