    this game reminds me of the lakers last season when they blew out the suns at staples then a few games later played suns on their home court and lost by 10-15 pts. Beware Celtic backers

    calling a game "trap" is getting old. ind is a trap. yesterday n.o is a trap play. oakland raiders beat eagles (a -15 pt fav team). kansas beat the pittsburg (a -11 pt fav team). and the denvers, as a -13 pt fav, lost to clippers.

    it all sums up to one thing.. any of your opinions are as good as mines.

    by "slump" are you talking the win streak of 4 or the 7-3 in the last 10? And by the bobcats being "hot" are you talking the 4-6 in the last 10 games or the 4 wins in a row vs 3 teams below .500 the one good team they beat was the cavs. If they beat the Celtics tonight i'll but my $$$ is on the Celtics.

    Noone took the Bobcats seriously last year and it showed. This year is a different story. With CHL beating the Cavs the other night gotta assume Doc took notice and wants to make sure they don't slip in this spot, especially considering the drubbing the Celtics gave CHL on opening night. CHL may have revenge on their minds, but it won't be enough to stop Beantown

    Finally, someone who counters these stupid opinions with facts. I'm sick of people choosing the Bobcats based on betting trends. I haven't seen a single person on these forums use anything other than betting trends to explain why they think the Bobcats will cover tonight.

    The fact remains that the Celtics are more talented than the Bobcats, and I don't think the Bobcats have enough firepower to overcome the Celtics interior D. If I'm an NBA coach that has three 40% shooters in my backcourt, and a frontcourt filled with offensively challenged players (Tyson, Nazr, Diaw, etc.) I'm not going to be too optimistic about my chances against the Celtics.

    NBA teams that open at -3 or -3.5 and the line moves up the favorite has covered in 8 of 9 this year. Thats 8-1 for the fav. Pretty strong line movement trend. The play is Boston or no play. Dont be guessing of trap games. There are stronger angles out there to use than that overused philosophy!
