    I've gotta ask you, tat

Who in the f\*\*k does Golden State have on the court together right now?

Blake, Jordan Crawford and Jermaine O'Neal in the same rotation? These guys are single-handedly flushing this game. They can't score.

    Jackson....

Did you watch the OKC game? Just how bad is Brooks? They didn't run an offensive set ONCE in 48 minutes. That's quite an accomplishment.

I'm starting to wonder why this league even bothers employing coaches in the first place. Seriously.

For instance, could the Pistons be any worse if they had a tackling dummy sitting on the bench with the reserves?

Why is that the coach's fault? Do professional athletes need to be instructed what to do mid-play?

Are you asking a question re: my post or Seto's? Do coaches not decide who is going to be on the court and the rotations in the game? And are you telling me they don't control whether or not the players run actual sets?

Jackson put Blake, Crawford and O'Neal together for about 5 minutes to start the fourth quarter. I think GS had like four points that entire period of time.

I agree that's a stupid rotation. Jackson is always stupid with his lineups. Part of that I blame on management for bringing in Iguodala when they had a young guy in Barnes who really came into his own in the playoffs last year. Now he's suck in a backup role.

But getting back to on the court. How do you propose the coach influence the play? He can't go out there and make them run the set. They know to do it, they're professionals.

If you're calling set plays and they aren't running them, what's the point of even existing on game day as a coach? Might as well grab some pom-poms and become a cheerleader.

Pinny just posted a 201 live line on the total. That's from a 178 regulation score.

23 points in a 5 minute OT? WTF?

Iguodala was definitely a head-scratching acquisition.

Howard standing there with the ball for 3-4 seconds with Houston down 3 -- how in the hell do you not foul him?

Well, McHale is as dumb as a box of rocks for starters. And Howard is the tin man. So long story short, they have zero chance of advancing. Less than zero, in fact.

Their offense consists of 4 out 1 in, and then Iso drive. I highly doubt this works comes playoff time. McHale sucks.

superstar league man. think mchale doesn't have a contract through past this season, so the more he caters to harden, the better shape he'll be in i guess.

Don't get me started on Jackson. Had a long exchange with a friend a few days ago about how bad he is.

Lets just say that when I see Lacob again I'm gonna slip him a heavy drink or 3 and get him jeff van gundys cell #

I really hate seeing this team underachieve in the prime of some of these guys' careers, but that's exactly what is going to happen as long as this guy is on the bench.

Man, there are a lot of really, really bad head coaches in the NBA right now. Guess it's a byproduct of the money; when guys are making over 10 times as much as the coaches they're playing for, it's not exactly easy to get them to listen to you. Again, some of these teams are so oblivious and disrespectful to the tried and true principles that built this league, why even employ a coach period? The Pistons, for instance, are so far gone that they might as well just name Josh Smith the player/coach and his teammates can all hang out in the locker room before the game and blaze up instead of gameplan.

I grew up on the 80's and 90's NBA. I was spoiled.

Talent is as good as it's ever been in this league. Athleticism is through the roof. Unfortunately, there is no structure or discipline or even respect for the game from the vast majority of these freaks of nature.
