This game interests me. Both teams playing b2b and both lost last night on the road. Both teams met twice already this season and both won at home against the other. This game will be a tie breaker of their season series with Wolves having home court once again. First factor will be heavy minutes on the side of Portland as they played in OT last night against the Pacers while the Wolves played average minutes. The second factor will be the travel of the teams. Blazers will have to travel from Indiana to Minnesota tonight while the Wolves came from New Orleans. Third factor should be the home court. Although all 3 points to the Wolves, the last and deciding factor will be important for the Blazers. Wolves center Nikola Pekovic played on both previous meetings but will be out for tonight due to injury.
December 18, 2013 - 30 points and 9 rebounds (Wolves won at home)
January 25, 2014 - 23 points and 11 rebounds ( Wolves lost on the road)
For me Pekovic will be a big factor when the Wolves match up with the Blazers. Turiaf can't score while Lopez can for the Blazers. Love and Aldridge cancels each other out. Batum, Matthews and Lillard will have a small edge on their counterparts, Brewer, Martin and Rubio. Mo Williams will be the icing for the Blazers. He scored 16 points last January 25 against the Wolves at home. If he scores more than 12, Blazers will take this one easy. He did not play last night in Indiana attending to personal matters. If he plays tonight then I will play the Blazers. Will wait for the line.
