    Sammy vs. J-Anthony.. & Sammy vs. Mega-tron in a 2 week cap-off for $$$

    This is our official thread for our 2 week capping contest. Rules are simple.. you can post up to 3 plays a night in the NBA. All plays must be posted by 6 PM Eastern Time. You post your play with the line and the amount you're betting. We'll update every morning and by Friday Jan 24th after that nights games the capper with the most wins is declared the winner. In the case of a tie, we'll look at who made the most profit.. I set up a pay-pal account, so the loser has to pay by Monday Jan 27th. Good luck to you both, Sammy Sunshine

    Wouldn't it make more sense to avoid ML plays and just stick with O/U and spreads?

    Sure, since they're +110 in this case. But if you're competing for the best record and can play ML, then you'd also be able to take Pacers ML @ -550 since the win counts for more than the money.

    Good point.. NO ML faves.. The whole point of this is because J A challenged me.. I said sure.. for dough.. whoever has the most wins by Jan 24th is declared the winner and gets $ 250 dollars.. tie breaker we look at profit made.. Mega-tron is only competing with me.. I am up against 2 cats.. we all know who's getting paid in the end....

    Some things not mentioned here. How much money does the winner get?
    Another thing… All players should post their plays the same…

    for example… Post your play, the line you got it at, then the amount you are betting. Also, it'd be good to see where you are betting these lines at.

    Also, just thinking out loud here. is there a limit on the bet amount? because I mean, if you guys are air betting you could just bet a million on one you think is a lock.

    Just a lot of holes in this.

    I mentioned winner gets 250 dollars. We all seem to have different lines.. I gotta trust their lines.. there is a 500 dollar limit. I posted this last night..guess u didn't see it.. thanks for the input.

    Amounts shouldn't mean squat unless were adding stacks at the end....straight up capper contest whoever has the best winning % wins the money....we all know these amounts getting thrown out by you know who aren't really being placed hence why this is for only $250.....I have a book who uses an online site to put the bets in on

    So far Megatron is 2-1, Philly is 1-1, and JAnthony is 0-2 with one pending. GL to JA on that last one. Would be a tough setback to start 0-3.

    What are the rules in regard to wins? Just most wins, or is it the most wins after subtracting losses? I think the 2nd option would be a more honest interpretation of who was truly more successful. It would set a better standard for profit.

    Tough start for me. I'm disappointed with DAL/NOP, since it started out just like expected and was 11 points above the pace after the half-time. Nevermind, there are still picks to win out there
