Stephen Curry (ankle bruise) will not play against the Spurs on Friday.
He tried to warm up for the game and the team announced he will not play just minutes before the tip. Curry has an ankle bruise and not a sprain, so evidently this is not a serious injury. The Warriors are on a back-to-back set, so perhaps they don't want to play their star guard in both games. Toney Douglas is expected to start and Kent Bazemore could get some extra minutes.
