Denver +2½ vs Houston

Back the Nuggets tonight at home in Denver when the Houston Rockets come to play at the Pepsi Center.

The Nuggets end their 4-game homestand home off a 9-point home loss, hosting the Rockets who enter the game off a 25-point revenge win.

The homestand has not been kind so far to Denver (17-1) with a 1-2 record. Their most recent game was a 92-83 loss to the Spurs as Allen Iverson scored 33. For Houston (23-13), this is the start of a 3-game road swing that will take them to Sacramento and Dallas after tonight's game in Denver. The Rockets have won seven of their last eight, including a 102-77 pasting of the Lakers on Wednesday night in Houston.

With Denver a rock-solid 14-7 SU and ATS at home off an immediate home loss, we'll grab the points here tonight.

The Nuggets still are in shambles right now, and I just can't back them even as a home dog in this spot. However, I do like the over in this game.
