Play Vince Carter and the Nets at home in New Jersey this evening when they take on the Toronto Raptors.
These teams have split a pair of meetings this season with the home team winning each of them by double digits. I expect another win and cover for the home team this evening.
Toronto has been playing well so far in 2007, going 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS. However, all three of those games came at home. The Raptors, 0-2 SU/ATS this season after having played three consecutive home games, remain a poor 5-14 on the road. The last four of those losses came by an average margin of 14.5 points and each came by a minimum of six points. In fact, 12 of their 14 road losses this season have come by a minimum of four points.
On the other hand, nine of the Nets' 10 home wins have come by a minimum of five points. Consider laying the small number!
