can the Pacers beat the Knicks without services of George Hill..? (your thoughts)

apparently Hill has a concussion... and is out for some time..

Pacers were due to be off... Knicks due to be on..

but was Hill's absence the difference tonite.. or was it just timing?

What is Hill's time table? Hill is a huge part of Indy's offense and defense.

concussions can take 1 to 2 weeks. He suffered it on Tuesday. If it was a mild concussion he might be able to pass the concussion test on Saturday.

what are the league rules concerning concussions?

is there mandatory period of recuperation... or team doctor clears? *.. and then up to him (like Derrick Rose)

this may well put the Kicks in against Miami

Pacers had a bad game as they often do on the road. I think they win at home.

i think you may be right here.. NY seems to have trouble winning more than 1 in a row against a great D..

Hill big diff though.. should be a hoot either way..

pacers are in trouble, hill is responsible for the assists, d.j. augustine cannot pass it correctly, the pressure on him to compete in game 6 will be unreal. indiana had 19 turnovers w/ augustine running things.

also woodson finally wised up and played copeland, so you have 4 guys on the knicks that can shoot it ok (melo, felton, smith, copeland), vs. the pacers who struggle offensively.

Knicks are the superior team here, only they can beat themselves.
that's with or without George Hill.

No they are not. They have not proved so all playoffs.

Pacers lost by 10 last night when they went 19-33 from the foul line or something liked at and missed more open jumpers on the first half than I've seen all year, even by the Pacers. They will be fine.

Yeah thats why they're down 3-2. If Indy hits their normal amount of free throws...its an even game last night.

    Indy at home this year:

    2-0 vs the Heat
3-0 vs Atlanta in the playoffs
    4-0 vs NY

KNicks are not the superior team.. they only have a superior scorer.. but if the Assist guy is out...
Assists are what wins games.. not scoring (imo)

    could be huge (Hill out)

but knicks being 0-4 in Indy is also huge.. this makes me think the Knicks..
NY is 2 -seed... how many 2-seeds go 0-5 anywhere?

then again.. Woodson was stupid enough to let Amare suit up.. NY terrible with him in. *

Woodson has been terrible this series....why is Kidd playing enough to go Ofer-17? He can't run or guard anyone anymore either. I'm on Indy but obv playing the Italian dude and Copeland more gives them a better chance.

As for Indy....Paul George is the key. The guy can slither to the basket or jump over anyone....why so many long 3s? I think Vogel will be in his ear to be more aggressive early. I would double Melo more too....not like NY has anyone red hot to kick it out too...that also gives George a breather so he has more energy for offense. Either way you cut it though...Hill is a huge loss but Indy is still a beast at home and should close it out.
