Does Stern have some synthetic rubber fetish? Just appease the spoiled millionaires and leave it at rest, with the regular leather ball.

Stern knew he needed to do something when his star players kept getting paper cuts from the ball. Some people are saying that Stern changed back in order to get some leverage during the next CBA.

The players are used to it now. Must be annoying to go through another adjustment period (and maybe another one when the new ball comes back improved). Scoring is way up this season, so this could affect bettors as well.

Man, that will suck to have to adjust back to the other ball in midseason. Make up your mind Stern.

What really sucks is that Spalding will honor anyone that wants to get a refund on these balls. I'm sure there shareholders won't be too happy about that news

    That's very generous by Spalding.

They should just give a credit voucher for the upcoming improved ball, not a refund.
