Hi all, starting this thread because I've recently started to love basketball and its supposed to be really easy to make money on

Abit about me, I have very little basketball knowledge, up until a few months ago I only really had an interest in soccer and have never bet on anything other than that. I am starting this thread for personal reasons more than anything, basically as a small hobby and also to instil some discipline in regards to bank roll management, I have been known to go for broke and have more gamble than a normal person should in regards to maintaining this thread, I work shifts so won't be able to make plays every day, hopefully quality over quantity eh!

Hopefully I can have abit of an objective view on bball and make my plays based on stats and the general opinions of more experienced guys on these forums, without any of the preconceptions of players/teams/trends/traditions that generally lose people money in sports betting!

For the record I do not expect to win, being break-even or being marginally down come the end of the season would be miraculous!

I will play from a 100pt scheme, usually 2.2 pts for a standard -110 pick and 1pt for the occasional parlay! Will post records after every selection is settled.

Not so good yesterday with my 2 smaller stakes coming in, only managed to catch the first half of gsw and they were cruising so no idea what happened there!? Nets let me down by 1 basket as well so not too disheartened!

Went 2-2 yesterday, probably forced my picks because of what was available at the time! Not going to do parlays when I have 4+ picks. Also noticed I did the maths wrong for my total pts gained and added a few by mistake so will correct now.
