Our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs over the Los Angeles Clippers, backing Gregg Popovich's crew once again as they're starting to get it in gear.
Last Saturday, the Spurs blew a 17-point lead and held on to defeat Sacramento 100-98. After that game, Popovich lit into the team and called them "pathetic." That seemed to light a fire under their backsides and the Spurs have played great since, beating Golden State by 40 and Charlotte by 20.
Of course, perhaps it wasn't Popovich's tirade, but the return of Argentinian superstar Manu Ginobili who has been instrumental in returning the Spurs to their pass-happy selves. Regardless, this is not a team to step in front of right now, and we'll back the Silver & Black at the AT&T Center tonight.
