PSBF system 1.0
I have been tracking this system since the last month of the 2011 nba season through now in the 2012-13 season and i would be in the green +225 units. I am putting the system to the test tracking live on the forum. Bankroll is key of course. I will be risking 1.5 units per play all the time.
hopefully throughout the year we will see units increasing!
Parlays from my local are
2 play parlay 2.5 to 1
3 play parlay 6 to 1
4 play parlay 10-1
single play is always 1 unit to win .90

Not wanting to be an ass, but your saying that your system profits +225 units, and you start betting 50 (parlay) + 100 (single play) units? I guess that system is not that good or there's something off with your "units".

How are you selecting the games?
I just choose the games I like the best, i select the fade bet by using the game I feel has good value on fading and picking. This system is very fragile but as long as you have a bankroll and some patience I think it will be profitable by the end of the year.
So if you're subjectively choosing the games, how did you manage to backtest this system? Or did you mean that you have been playing this system way of betting but haven't put money on it yet.
correct, this will be the first true test live on the forum, last year i didnt post the system and did well just tracking it without putting units into it. i was gonna wait untill after the allstar break to go live this season but i am excited about it and couldnt wait.

Why did you bet clippers & nuggets?
You always fade one of your parlay bets that way there is more of a chance you finish in the plus. If you can win 1-3 to 2-3 of your nba plays this system has a good chance of working well for you.

Would you not make more money by just playing the non fade team for half unit?
no. because if you bet .50 units on both the parlay and the single bet, and lose both you are not positive units, this system is to protect you when you lose a bet. very rare your gonna come out negative at the end of the day. high risk, small reward for sure..but its better than placing two bets ..winning one and losing one and ending up - the juice. i would rather be +.40 units or +.25 units rather than - anything after a play

Just a few questions..How many units are you risking on the 2 team parlay as opposed to the straight bet? Would the units in the 2 team parlay be the same for a 4 team parlay and etc.. If that makes sense.
yes, the units will always be .50 for the parlay, 2 team, 3 team or 4 team, i always use .50 for the parlay. and always 1 unit for the single play.
Nice system, Yinz. And I agree with you that it makes a lot more sense to come out ahead than give away the juice.
Do you have any contingent plan if the 1st game of the parlay loses? As an example, if the 1st game loses and the 2nd game wins, the parlay would be -0.5 and it would make the single bet fade of the 2nd game a loser at -1.0 too since the 2nd game won.

no, contingent plan just yet, but this is version 1.0 i went with this style based on the way i lose or win, seems i usually go 1-2 or 2-3 whenever i bet games. i am always looking to improve this system and probably will bring out a 2.0 when needed...let me know if you have any ideas im always open for new ideas.
Thanks! I've been having the same problem, but in the opposite way where I lose the 1st, but cover the rest. Going 1-1, 2-1, and/or 3-1 makes the day rough, having to scramble to avoid losing by throwing a bet on a late game side (or total) to save the day (doesn't always work).
Need to find the time to throw some game scenarios in my computer and see how things work out. Will let you know if anything good comes out of my tests.
